Laura Chesson, Arlington Assistant Superintendent has led instructional technology efforts in rural, suburban, and urban schools over the last 18 years. She implemented the first utilization of the Internet in rural New Mexico, was a teacher in the inaugural year of Virtual High School, and designed and implemented a one-to-one environment at Maynard High School. She is currently working with the Arlington Instructional Technology Study Group, which includes teachers from all schools K -12 and two principals, in order to prepare for opening of a one-to-one elementary school in the fall of 2013 and the expansion of the leveraging of technology across the district.
